The 4 Horsemen of the Nonprofit Financial Apocalypse
June 22nd, 12pm EST
Free and Open to All
As the recession spread virally across the sector, a shocking picture of nonprofit sustainability emerged. On one side, we were unsurprised to see already financially unstable organizations caving under increased financial pressures and funding withdrawals. But another group of victims in the sector was less predictable. Organizations that boasted enviable business models and followed financial "best practices" turned out to be surprisingly vulnerable. So what went wrong?
In NFF President & CEO Clara Miller's recent Nonprofit Quarterly article, "The Four Horsemen of the Nonprofit Financial Apocalypse,” she illuminates the hidden patterns that led our sector to falter in seemingly unpredictable ways. In an accompanying Webinar hosted by The Nonprofit Quarterly, NPQ Editor-in-Chief, Ruth McCambridge, and Clara will delve deeper into the article and respond to your questions, comments, and concerns on this important topic. We encourage you to read the article and participate in what promises to be an engaging discussion on the future or our sector!
