New emphasis on overall financial health, board financial oversight, generation of unrestricted income, and other emerging challenges is leading many Community Action Agencies (CAAs) to re-evaluate the role of the Chief Financial Officer (or CFO, known in some CAAs as the finance or fiscal director or fiscal officer). This new emphasis is also causing many CFOs to question where they will find the time and energy to step up to the new levels of strategic leadership their roles may demand. Join CAPLAW financial consultant Kay Sohl and financial managers from Community Action Agencies across the country to discuss emerging challenges and strategies CAA CFOs are using to provide the financial leadership their organizations need.
